Constructed from: 2011, the cars have Ford v6 CSG-637 engines of 3.70l, producing 355 bhp.

Compete in the  various formats

An evolution of the G50, with improved aerodynamics, and drive-train. Virtually all G50's were retrofitted and upgraded to G55 specification, which was a requirement to compete in varous championships (I also suspect that the original homologation of the G50 was about to expire).

Ginetta G55 GT4

Constructed from: 2011, the cars have Ford v6 CSG-637 engines of 3.70l, producing 355 bhp.

Compete in the GT Championships running to GT-4 regs

Run by three teams in British GT, 2011, and seven teams in 2012, the GT4 car was very competitive and successful.

Compete in the Ginetta Supercup (TOCA package)

The Ginetta Supercup cars, were, in effect of GT4 specification - in fact, I believe one or two did run in both championships for a while, but different tyre performance characteristics (Avon for GT and Michelin for the Supercup) coupled with a lack of allowed testing, proved problematic in the set-up of cars running in both series.

Constructed from: 2012, the cars have Nissan v8 VK45DD engines of 4.35l, producing 650 bhp.

Compete in the GT Championships running to GT-3 regs

Identifiable by virtue of the larger rear wing, the GT3 car was run by five teams in 2011 and four in 2012, the GT3 proving to be very popular.
