After the war, the Walklett brothers were running an agricultural engineering business. Ivor Walklett wanted a car and set about building one, with help from his brother Trevers. Friends showed an interest in these cars, and once the sale of the G2 kits started, two other brothers Bob and Douglas joined, and together they formed Ginetta Cars.
