The G4 was one of Ginetta's earliest designs, but the company found the technical problems too great. So they built and sold the G2 and G3 model. Finally the G4 was launched in 1961. It went through 3 models in the 1960s, and produced some special versions for particular engines. The G7 was a development car, and was not produced.
